Global ROI Conference Exceeds Expectations
Birmingham, Alabama – The Global ROI Conference, held October 31 – November 2 in Chicago at the Allerton Hotel, exceeded expectations through its content and display of cutting-edge technology.
The conference included keynotes from industry leaders, pre and post-conference workshops, in-depth sessions detailing the application of the ROI Methodology in multiple fields, and presentation of the annual ROI Awards.
The sessions covered topics such as sustaining ROI programs over time, how to implement ROI impact studies in an organization, and building support for ROI programs. The session leaders were from various fields including banking, higher education, and federal agencies.
“The content was outstanding,” said Dr. Jack Phillips, Chairman of the ROI Institute. “The session leaders did a great job highlighting how the methodology can work across different industries.”
The conference also included the latest in meetings and events technology supplied by conference sponsors iDNA Information Systems, nTAG, and conference co-sponsor KnowledgeAdvisors.
iDNA provided a group response system to capture industry benchmarking data throughout the conference. nTAG provided interactive nametags to attendees which encouraged networking by enabling electronic business card exchanges. KnowledgeAdvisors, the conference co-sponsor, will take all of the information gathered and use its technology, Metrics that Matter®, to collect, store, process, and report evaluation data and generate a benchmark report.
“The technology provided a complement to the content because it will be used to help gather data to calculate the ROI of the conference,” said Phillips. “I can’t thank our sponsors enough for providing their time and equipment to make this happen.”
The annual ROI Awards were presented during the dinner keynote on November 1. The winners were:
Best ROI Impact Study – Bruce Aaron of Accenture
