New ROI Certification Offered by the Learning Strategies Group, SFU Business at Simon Fraser University

The ROI Institute is pleased to announce a new public certification program at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. Hosted by the Learning Strategies Group, Segal Graduate School of Business, this certification provides participants with the opportunity to develop a set of competencies highly sought after by employers and organizations across all industry sectors.

To date, over 4,000 professionals have participated in the certification process with almost 3,000 achieving the Certified ROI Professional status. For many individuals, building ROI expertise through the Certification program has proven to be pivotal to moving forward in their professional careers. This certification will be facilitated by Jack Phillips, Ph.D., a world renowned expert in the field of measurement and evaluation. Program participants will:

• apply the ROI Methodology™ to a program in their organization;
• benefit from detailed, first-hand experience across all stages of the ROI methodology;
• develop measures for assessing the contribution of training and performance improvement programs;
• develop methods for translating tangible and intangible benefits into monetary values;
• learn how apply these measures and methods towards calculating their organization’s ROI; and
• will understand how to translate these into enhancing the results of their organization’s range of learning initiatives with the overall goal of improving ROI.
