Record Number of Certifications in July 2011

Birmingham, Alabama, June 28, 2011- The ROI Institute will conduct a record number of ROI certifications for the month of July 2011. ROI certification is a five-day training program aimed at building competencies to conduct ROI studies. To become a certified ROI professional, an individual must complete the study and submit it to the ROI Institute for final approval. In July, five public and private ROI certification classes will be conducted in Jordan, South Africa, India, and the United States.
Jack Phillips, Chairman, ROI Institute, explains, “We are enthusiastic about presenting the ROI certification in such diverse areas and organizations. We are pleased with the continued growth of the ROI certification process. Last year, we had a record number of certifications, with 35 live classes in all parts of the world. That record could easily be surpassed this year.” This increase in certification is due to the global recession, coupled with the additional demands by top executives to show the value of what people do. The ROI certification is designed to meet those needs.
Patti Phillips, President and CEO, agrees. “The ROI certification is the gold standard of measurement and evaluation, and is becoming increasingly sought-after by many individuals and organizations. To date, over 3,000 individuals have attained the designation of Certified ROI Professional (CRP). At the same time, almost 6,000 have attended the five-day workshop. We estimate that about 1,000 individuals are now working on their projects to achieve the designation of CRP.”
Several additional public and private certifications are planned throughout the remainder of the year in a variety of countries and the USA.
