Patti Phillips, President and CEO of the ROI Institute, Announces Appointment of New Vice President

May 31, 2011 –(Birmingham, Alabama)- The ROI Institute has announced the appointment of Lizette Zuniga as Vice President –ROI Implementation. In this capacity, Lizette will be responsible for assisting clients with ROI implementation through workshops and consulting processes. In addition, she will manage the support team at the headquarters location.
Lizette joins the ROI Institute with a wealth of experience in measurement, assessment, and evaluation, having completed the ROI certification over ten years ago. She implemented a comprehensive evaluation system at First Data Corporation, and has been an independent consultant and associate of the ROI Institute for the last seven years.
Dr. Zuniga’s academic contribution is extensive, including serving as an adjunct professor for a major university, teaching Adult Learning Theory & Practice and Presentation Skills. She currently facilitates the 3-day certificate course in Measuring & Evaluating Learning for American Society for Training & Development (ASTD). Lizette holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Cross-cultural Psychology and Psychometry from Georgia State University, and a Ph.D. in Leadership & HRD from Barry University. She is certified in Myers-Briggs Typology and in ROI evaluation. Lizette has contributed to the human resource development literature by publishing several articles on integrating Hispanic managers into the American workplace, leadership development, and ROI.

In 2008, Dr. Zuniga co-authored a book with Jack Phillips, Costs and ROI: Evaluating at the Ultimate Level. This book is the fifth of the six book series on measurement and evaluation from Pfeiffer. In her new capacity, Lizette will focus on several new books, particularly in the leadership area.
